We held our September meeting last night on Monday, September 29.  It was previously scheduled for Monday, September 8, but due to Gustav we had to postpone it.  The meeting was a great success!  The topic of the meeting was, "Using solar for hurricane power."  Jeff Shaw, one of the LSES directors, and Justin Runnels of Gulf South Solar came out to discuss using solar energy during a power outage.
Solar enthusiasts from all over the state came out to listen and discuss this important topic.  We also discussed not only using solar for hurricane power, but other great solar topics ranging from tax credit to new products that are coming out for solar!
