Baton Rouge Earth Day was Sunday, April
22, and the Louisiana Solar Energy Society was there.
Brad
Rigsby from
was there and shared the booth. We set up a mini-solar power
system complete with a five (5) watt solar panel, a deep cycle battery,
a fountain pump, inverter, and laptop computer running a slide show of
various installations. There were hundreds of people by the booth
and they were amazed that solar was so simple and practical. We gave
out lots of literature and got several people to join LSES. Hopefully
they will be going solar soon.
