The Louisiana Solar

educational organization formed to promote the
use of solar energy and to share information
on the subject between its members and the

Solar Viewing at the Highland Road Park Observatory-July 4 and 18
The Highland Road Park Observatory will be having a
viewing of our sun on July 4 and the 18 from 12pm-1pm! Come out and learn
exactly how the sun works and how we are able to harness the sun's energy for
our own energy needs.
HRPO is located on Highland Rd. past Siegen lane,

HRPO recommends you wear protective clothing
and sunscreen. Handouts will be provided on UV radiation and solar power.
