The Louisiana Solar
Energy Society is an
educational organization formed to promote the
use of solar energy and to share information
on the subject between its members and the
public.
ItÂ’s opening day of hurricane season and once again our communities are left
vulnerable
to storm surge events. Despite congressional mandates, the Army Corps is years
behind
deadline to restore the decimated wetlands along the MRGO.
Together, we will stand up and speak out to ask the Corps to make the protection
of our
communities top priority. Hear from community leaders who are taking action to
make
coastal Louisiana more sustainable and how we can all work to ensure a healthy,
safe
future for our families.
