The Party for the Planet at the Alexandria Zoo, was held on Saturday, April 25,
2009 and was well attended (3300). Many of them walked by the CENLA LSES tables
where we had the brochures about LSES and other information on Solar.
Mr. Perry had brought a solar roof vent that turned when the sun came out. At
the other end we had a pool set up with a solar powered pump and a hand pump.
Many kids stopped to turn the hand pump to see if they could pump more water
than the sun.
A total of eight volunteers from CENLA LSES came out to help and we all had fun!
